PLCC Chip puller
Pulling a chip out of its socket can be a dangerous thing. To keep from bending the pins you must pull up on the chip from both sides. If you are not careful while prying it out you can easily bend the leads of the chip. Bend them too much or too often and they will break off, no more chip for you!
A chip puller is a small device that makes it a lot easier to pull a chip out of its socket without bending pins. It is a great tool to have if you are swapping chips around a lot.
